Heal Friar

A template for a 50 buff 44 heal 27 staff friar
hammer / shield but switchin to tartaros to kill pets and steal deathblows
i was gonna use croc ring but i got the dragon ring at the last moment killin mini dragons ^^

I like it.. Was going to make my own friar healing specced, but then got talked out of it, because.. Why? If you need a heal friar, then the grp must be shit! I found out that healing with 14rejuv is more than enough, if you just have some +healing%. I'd advice any friar to go 50staff, 49enhance, 15rejuv and rest parry!

The template is solid, but I don't see why you would need a rejuv friar? But then again, I'm the guy respeccing my wizard for melee

whats yer role in grp as a 50 stuff friar?
do u play like a tank?
u lack charge and stoicism, u have no banelords or other instant 1 target or aoe interupts.
well u may have 4 sec stun chain, but thats not enough when u can have merc, arms, reaver or even paladin

as a bger u have to stay back and protect casters and healers
its a pain to rush in front only to flee back again to bg a caster
ml styles cost cheaper with 1h hammer

alb grp usually are ok w just 2 clerics.
but hib and mid grps have at least 2 main healers and bard or shaman to heal, rebuff etc.
when there is another healer a cleric can play more offensively
grp health regen can heal loads in a minute 60hp every 3sec , 1200hp in a min, which is very good when interupted or just kiting

but thats just a few arguements i can come up with, still noob on friar

Well if the tanks up front are interrupting casters/support, you can do a lot of damage on the tanks who's attaking your support If you are BG'ing you cannot cast heals at the same time, which imo, makes it seem a bit useless

As for the HoT, I can see your point! It is a lot of hps and very useful when kiting, where the friar is pretty useless if he's staff specced!

It really all comes down to what kind of grp you are planning on running and what you want to use your friar for.. I like the fact that I can do well solo, in grps(may they be small or fg) and that I can also easily go out and do some pve

I think with the new upcomming styles changes most of friars are going to 50 staff, at least most did on US. But like corn said, totally depends on your grp playstyle. Not sure how a grp with only one cleric will work tho thuth.

Neither do i really, but it certainly looks pwn on paper. Also the head/cold resist are almost a must have!

works pretty well, only down fall is when ppl die, but end of the day you have base buffs and the cleric can spec. Heal friars get some pretty insane heals now.
