Help to quit daoc :-P

Hi well this is the problem....

Ive been having 2 subs for daoc EU since start and not been playing in EU since over a year but been autopaying anyway (yes im lazy to cancle sub) but now when i was about to cancle it the problem of HOW came up?

Im not sure i have logins and stuff left for my acc´s so i mailed goa to via mail cancle my sub, and got...

Therefore we ask that you please send the information below to the following postal address. Once this is done, we will be able to close the account for you.

- A copy of your identity card
- Copy of the last credit card bill - the last payment for DAoC has to be mentioned-
- Last registered "profile" information: first and last name, postal address, both CD Keys to the following address.
- An acknowledgment of some payment you made (receipt of the phone bill)

So can it be done witout installing daoc again? this seems like a big undertaking to fix even tho i do understand they need some security...but this is so silly i get freeking mad....grrrr

just ring the bank and tell them to refuse any more payments from goa. Easyiest thing

Tnx for that one but i should have said i tryed that, and they wont do that as goa has done nothing actually wrong...they just abit lame.
The bank only do that when a company done something me and them dident agree on, and atm they havent.

Im guessin g i cant get around try to get password and cancle it just hoped it would find something easyer.

You can phone up (email) GOA and tell them as the owner of the credit card that you are canceling any standing arrangements. You don't need to prove you are the owner of the account, you just need to be the owner of the credit card and no longer want that credit card to be charged. If GOA refuse then the have done something wrong and you can ask the bank to stop paying.

The ingame account has nothing to do with this.

Put it in writing that you want them to stop taking payments from your card, your name and card number is enough by law, if they still refuse to stop taking money then report them to your bank as its fraud.

Just phone up your bank, go into your bank or go online & contact your bank.

Either way, its a very simple process to get this cancelled.

Chronicles of Camelot and when trying to get in if ya know the loggin name press password lost if ya forgot it thats if ya have the same email address as when ya made the account..

if email address has changed, then its a small prob, i did but they sent me a email saying they needed the name and bank details and the original email address then they reset the accounts new email address to the new 1 and i could get a new account / game password using that 1. its prob not that they can`t do it because they cba lol

i used this email address to get subs password changed

Call credit card company or bank and report card stolen. New card issued. Payment from old card refused. Job done.

as others have said, call the bank say to them that goa are refusing to stop payment. Bank will stop it, job done
