Legal site?

I'm not sure if this is in the correct forum, so mods feel free to move it if it isn't!

A friend told me about the following website to download music Lavamus.com main page :: mp3 download - can anyone tell me if this is a legal / kosher website? The music seems crazy cheap as i'm used to iTunes prices.

Basically it is one of the Russian MP3 sites, it complies with local laws for copyright etc but not most other countries so as far as I know they pay no royalties etc hence the price.

Yeah, like Allofmp3.com it'll get shit on by the MPAA putting pressure on the US govt who then put pressure on the Ruskies to shut it down.

Although that may be harder to do in the present political climate...

Partly depends if they actually get into the WTO, which with recent events might not happen fast.
