IGN: MechWarrior Q&A - The First Details

Now this I will be getting, was a major fan of the Mechwarriors, although not so much of 4, which I felt got a bit too arcadey!

Anyone else anxiously awaiting this now?

It's just a cinematic to give some flavour (and sell it to a publisher) I think; although a mechwarrior on a modern graphics engine should be pretty nice to look at. I also like the emphasis they are putting on information warfare and lance composition, should be fun to play online as well.

I liked all the MW games ( got all games+all expansions/clanpaks ) but best in genre goes to Starsiege imo.

The plot was actually more engaging than MWs spoiled child of xxx family forced to reclaim throneeeeeomg.

Although the Atlas in the trailer did make me pee a little.
