X3 Terran Conflict.

so i bought TC a few days ago, started reading up on it abit and found out that aparently theres supposed to be a M7 class Missile Frigate, but Reference information about space ships (full database) / X3 Terran Conflict (X3TC) doesent list any as M7M (wich is the identification for them).

dying to get my hands on one so if anyone know the name of one (preferably terran or ATF) i'd be greatful.

ok nm that, is the story part supposed to end with nothing? i transported some reps from a lost colony to the earth station and got a big "Congratulation" explode on my screen. did the story end with that or what? because i was expecting to atleast having a shot at taking out the main culprit in that story, but all i got was "he excaped".

been doing side missions like crazy while waiting for something to happen but nothing does

I haven't played TC but having played the predecessors a whole lot I can safely guess the story sucks big time It's the free play afterwards that is rewarding and fun

its actually quite fun, even tho its somewhat short. and as posted above. ends in a really retarded way.

it doesent lead anywhere when it ends. sure its a sandbox game but still. it annoys the hell out of me.

i seriously cant see whats so fun with the freeplay after. u jump around doing side missions in the hopes that enough races will like you so you can start Final Fury or some other retardedly long mission chain where the dificulty is solely down to what ship you are flying. so if u take them with a ship bigger then a corvette your fucked because even with a carrier smacked with fighters you will lose..

even the mega capitals dont stand a chance, but if u fly a corvette its a piece of cake (relatively speaking).

i cheated my way up to that story, tried it with a Valhalla (the biggest, baddest mfking ship u can get, although its not actually in the game as something u can get "legally") and the ammount of enemies i had to face were just incredibly retarded. i dont lie (much) when i say there were over 300 ships coming at me, everything from capitals to M5's.

For me its just like a much more complicated Sim City, i love building up my empire and my fleet. Trying to get factory complex to work. Starting war with the split And im sure it's beatable, it was beatable in X3. And you can always bring wingmates too.

yes you can bring wingmates. but unless you bring some serious serious firepower it wont make a difference. and i'm not just talking a load of capitals here. you will need a BIG versatile fleet, and the cost it will take to buy/build all that firepower just isnt worth the trouble.

sure if you want a challence those missions are certainly good for it. but its still to much work involved for the comparatively shitty rewards (50 or so million).

the risk versus reward factor is worse doing those chains with a capital then what u face in EvE because no matter if u win or not you still lost cash just building the fleet.

and the chance that one or more of your capitals will go down is WAY to high for me to even concidering it.

That is a nice ship. Bought X3 ages ago and have barely played it at all, I should sit down with it and play through it. By The sounds of things it sounds similar to X2 Missions There was a mission where you took a special ship and hid in a asteroid, I took a carrier with fighters and two destroyers as back up and the Kraak threw everything they had at me I had to retreat and the mission was broken from then on.

aye its a great ship. just dont try to jump anywhere with it as its so big it isnt fitting inside the jumpgates and will explode

so you have to cheat yourself to one in every system you wanna use it in.

tho there might be mods available that makes the jumpgates bigger. havent played this for a while now.
