Pallys vs Stealthers

Just another complaint really...
As a pally i thought you would be able to take on random stealthers. Not very high RR etc etc. I got killed 3 times in DF, every time by stealthers. I didnt stand a chance against any of them. I used FH 2 of the fights, died pretty fast and the enemy still having 80-90% hp. I wasnt buffed, maybe they were, but i doubt it...

Btw im RR2L6 and thats not very high but i thought i had a chance atleast, I must be a bad player /cry. From now on im not putting any more money on my pally, just for scrollhunting etc...

Wouldnt have mattered much even if you were buffed tbh, in my experience all tank classes get raped by stealthers now days. And the rvr movies I have been watching lately seem to conferm this, yes I do know that they usealy only put their "good" kills in the movies
Still its pretty boreing to get raped atleast 50% of the times a stealther attacks you (this doesnt include archers, you realy dont wanna attack a shield tank with a bow)

I won´t attack neither a paladin or a merc unless they are standing still so that I am 100% sure I get PA in and that I have end pots with me.

Mercs are just painfull to face. Paladins don´t outdamage me but their twisting makes them longliving and without endpots.... well I will hit for crap dmg while he can just amethyst away.

as im an infil, i only duoed pally/merc.
my experience in duel:
merc=infi -the higher rr/better equipped wins
pally<<infil -but sometimes i need 4-5 DoT poisoned swords, that ubers heal chant well enough, even if i can only hit unstyled

oh, and
buffed tank >>>>>>>>>>> unbuffed tank

Yep, thats what it was like with Emma.

Pally rr5+ was a no go area. Even with end pots unless there completely thick they were next to impossible to kill.

Merc rr3+ unless totally stupid and/or in gimpeh armour were a no go area also.

Like with my merc. ive yet to loose a 1 vs 1 with an SB :/ which sucks tbh.

i thought mythic nerfed assassins so they couldn't solo tanks. Pritty much all stealthers have BBs now, don't think theres much point playing one unless you (or a m8) has a BB, unless you wanna stelthzerg and get called names by people that do use them

Buffs and good equipment (ala ToA) and you would or atleast should have won those fights. Atleast when using FH. Not much point in trying to hit a fully buffed stealther as hybrid/tank and being unbuffed

Well here is what usealy happends when my warrior(unbuffed) meets an infil:

XXX attacks you for 600-700 dmg
XXX attacks you for 150 dmg
Your strength decrese
You are poisend
You prepair to preforme slam!
XXX hits you for 250 dmg
You block XXX's attack
XXX evades your blow
XXX hits you for 400 dmg
EVUL resist debuff proc
XXX hits you for 200 dmg
You prepair to preforme slam
You hit XXX with our shield for 170 dmg
XXX cant seem to move
PURGE
XXX hits you for 400 dmg
Kedoz was just killed by XXX

Something like that, if im buffed, just add a few lines of XXX hits you and you will get the picture
The weirdest exsample was a 1 on 1 at amg, I was in total controll (I thought) I got my slam in erly, and I used my 2H for max dmg, but he purged as I was about to hit (I was at about 80% hp (and I have 2350ish hp buffed) and booom me dead in 2 hits... that was kinda depressing, didnt even have time to change back to 1H and shield . After that day I stoped trying to run solo in Emain, usealy worked ok pre ToA, or atleast I got some RP once in a while, wich was ok

you already wrote why you lost. unbuffed vs buffed is a nogo as melee. and stealthers are buffed 9.5/10 or so id guess, even in DF.

Tbfh I really hate soloing paladins in frontiers, they are a huge flashing target with a label "AE mez me so the stealthers can suck it well" on them. Last night we died twice because of this and it's really annoying.

Tbh its all in the buffs i think and pretty much every time i tried to solo (unbuffed ) SB they had purge ready, if they didnt .... they died. But that was just pre-ToA.

To those who say SB > Paladin anytime, well .. you can kiss me plated butt.
