Titan Quest expansion

Just a little repost from the off topic forum.



Thought I may as well post this here and warn others. I completed Titan Quest : Immortal Throne a couple of minutes ago. Very very disappointed It took me 6 hours on normal mode with my level 44 defense/nature character, the story was weak from start to finish and the game forces you to do quite a bit of backtracking as well. There is nowhere near the claimed 30 hours of content, it is 6-7 hours with 3 difficulty levels. Totally underwhelmed by the whole thing, very much a an anti-climax after the original game. I really can't face playing the next 2 difficulty levels just for exp and better loot, the story is so bland that once was more than enough, twice more and I would be reaching for the cyanide.

So, consider yourselves warned!

No, not one glitch suprisingly. That was one of the few things that impressed me.

i hear mixed reviews for this, a lot of forums seem to have ppl like you saying its short vs lots of other ppl saying even if u walked from start to end of expansion and didnt explore/side quest it takes 12+ hours easy on normal. Not saying this case with you chodax but a lot of the ppl saying its short on forums played a pirate version so no idea if that effects anything.

Been enjoying this myself. I started a new character using the new mastery (changed computers isnce original came out so couldn't use my already levelled ones) and racked up 20+ hours just getting to the new Act. Of course the single chapter went fast with a level 44 char, I'm just starting it at level 32 and it's pretty tough going - possibly slightly on the wrong side of challenging but should fix that with a few item runs later on.

There are a number of other additions as well as the new Act which are really nice. The addition of artifacts ives a reason for hording gold and charms/relics plus the new storage system gives you a place to do so.

All in all, I'd say I've already had my monies worth for the 15 quid it cost me and I've not even reached Hades yet
