I like the game but it just isn't deep enough, the unit variety is very poor as is the construction tree. Every faction unit and structure is basically the same thing with different names and very slightly different function. It plays great but the lack of a singleplayer story and the above problems really let this game down an awful lot. I honestly could not justify buying the game as it stands, after 3 winning campaigns it feels like I have done everything and seen everything the game has to offer. Hopefully Stardock will patch in alot more content and variety but until they do I will have to spend my money elsewhere.

Tempted to get a multiplayer game together sometime, but I know most of you guys will just kick my arse!

I don't know. I am not as impressed atfer a couple of weeks, like chodax says, no variety or depth. A proper single player campaign with storyline might have kept me hooked for a while longer.

true it does get a bit samey, but with the custom maps and so forth to keep it going a while, and there are already a shed load of mega mods in progress, Bablyon 5, star wars, etc, etc... aswell as the usual "balance" mods

seems like AI doesnt really research that hard, BUT THEY DO ZERG LIKE FUCKING ZERGLING MOTHERFUCKERS.

I got to about 5 hours in a huge single player map with 8 or so AI. I was going well but now i'm getting zerged.

I'm game for a multiplayer game whenever really now my exams are over.
