Fansy the Famous

Most of you Camlanners have never played EverQuest, the mother of 3D MMORPGs. By today's standards everything in that game is dated, but back in 2001 it was still MMORPG number one with the best PvP ruleset ever: Good vs. Neutral vs. Evil.

Naturally, everyone wanted to be ewul. Being good isn't as inspiring, I guess. Anyway, the evil team conquered 70% of the zones in no time, making leveling almost impossible for everyone else. Many gave up and joined the evil zerg.

But one man stayed behind.

One man chose to fight the evil team on their own territory.

That man was known simply as

FANSY THE FAMOUS BARD

Also who really had heard of Fansy before reading this? i seem to remember seeing him from EQ, but i could be imagining it

He was and still is a legend in EverQuest. I made a dark elf shadowknight just to have a conversation with him but he wasn't on...
