I think i said this in general, or was i talking about LotSeeker, that if if has sexual innuendo(or indeed sex), leather glad ladies, fighting, jokes and had that Raimi pattern to it, it's just what the doctor ordered, nothing mroe, nothing less.

Xena, Hercules etc need a certain mindset to watch, if you take it serious, you're in for trouble.

Well, got around to first;

Not as bad as people make it sound. 300 the series style wise, more serious then Xena etc. If they cut the gore and sex back a bit, it had plenty of potential.

Dramatic, corny, overkill?...deffo, but that's what these shows are about, the testie tickling cornius maximus

ON episode 5 now, I have to say, while not brilliant, it is getting better. It's grown on me, and I find myself wanting more to see how it develops.

If you want historical accuracy then it is not for you, but for a fun series that rips off elements of style from 300, then this is great.

Definately improving, the actors are looking more at ease now and some of the delivery is better. The story itself is good fun though.
