GTA the film that almost was....
this blog
on variety has a few little snippets on a deal Take2/Rockstar almost finalized a deal to make film of the hugely popular game Grand Theft Auto series the deal then fell through. film to game transfers arnt always that great, and rockstar has had a impressive voice cast since GTA III got released on the PS2. if anything they could and prolly should make the film/machinima them shelves using a souped up version of the game engine.
