seattle times are reporting they MS may license the Xbox 360 to consumer electronic companies, this report is from a bill gates keynote speech, and if true may mean those rumours last year about tosh making a HD dvd based Xbox 360 may become a realityl

There was talk of a Toshiba "360 inside" HD player last year, nothing came of it though; a shame coz Toshiba could probably make a better-built, quieter version.

Which company was it that made the Gamecube dvd player? I thought it was a great idea at the time. Add functionality the console did not have and look like a proper bit of a/v kit as well.

panasonic, it was good but was just like the ps2/xbox shit dvd playback. i got one also was known to to stuiff of dvdrs without much fiddling
