Wired
have an intresting article about a Gamespot Reviewer who got fired for angering Edios with his Kayne & Lynch: Dead Men review. altho Gamespot claim he was fired for Larger reasons and unprofessional reviews this just goes to show why gaming forums are perhaps the ebst way to check up iof a games good or not these days Last edited by Yaka; 1st December 2007 at 08:19 PM.

Eidos Interactive allegedly had threatened to pull their advertising on Gamespots main page, which right now commands a large percentage of the Gamespot’s layout - $$$ speaks for a lot of the high ranked review sites, MMORPG are getting just as bad, when one of the MMOs buy some advertising on there site... insta-win

yeah thats really pathetic, but not unsuprising
the adverts are gone now aswell afaik. just means that all the Gamespot credibility is now gone, they wont get it back, ever.

They had some anyway? Surely this behaviour goes without saying and you'd be a fool to trust it with or without a wakeup call like this?
