Anything console related would be poo but I wouldn't base my argument on the DS version...

Erm, do you know nothing?

The resi games are designed for specifically for consoles: hence the old background systems, fixed cameras etc etc.

And basing it on the DS version is not so stupid. Given that the handheld consoles are severely limited in the things they can and can't do, it is fair to state that they will be substandard: as even the compressed fixed backgrounds used in the resi games would be too high quality and contain too many of them to squeeze onto a handheld in the same manner of the console versions.
