is there any Dragon Raiding activity?

wondering if there's any form of dragon raids on Dyvet since those adolescent dragons and Gjalp are needed to complete the "Dragon's Revenge"-Campaign.

I Haven't heard of any being arranged m8, normally it's just a spur of the moment thing in mid, where we just spam /as till we get enough peeps to try it. but if anything comes up i will let you know.

albs doing those minidrago raids already and aiming for the big 3 next week afaik, and hib started doing them aswell.

in mid it doesn't seem to happen atm

Tp give you guys on a decent setup:

Grp 1 (main tank): Stays on the dragon as much as possible, main tank stays on her constantly!
Aug healer
Mend healer
Aug shaman
Tank or Hunter (she hates the laby dot bows!!)
Tank or Hunter
Tank
Tank
Tank

Grp 2: Primary add group, tanks on slappyvulva until adds pop, then switch and /assist main tank on adds, keeping an eye on grp1's seers.
Aug healer
Mend healer
Aug shaman
Tank/Hunter/SB (using the AF debuff side style)
The rest can be tanks or casters

Grp 3
Mend/Aug healer
Shaman
Rest can be most classes, but avoid pet classes as she can take control of your pets, and the lair is terrible for pathing! Runies need to spam confuse on any adds!

Heres a quicky guide to doing her, hope it helps:

Gather the BG on the hill NW of the lair.
With BG leader, move off clockwise around the outside, along all the raised walkways, killing the perimiter adds, concentrate on the Disciples, as they have a medium duration mezz and medium nuke. Return to the start point.

COLD RESISTS MUST BE RECAST NOW AND EVERY TIME SOMEONE DIES!
Enter the lair through the gap in the NW corner, the main tank should lead this, followed by his group, then the rest.
Seer classes spread out left and right, not too far away from the edge, and NOT under the raised walkways.
All DPS should engage the dragon, taunting her as much as possible.
Add will appear from 3 places, and the add groups should keep an eye out at all times:

1. From around the perimiter, kill disciples on sight, and keep them away from the seers.
2. Respawns inside the lair, again random but always target disciples and soulcrushers first to avoid interupts.
3. From the Dragons belly; these mobs can be confused, or if you have valks, use the "Cowering Bellow" pet scare ML ability, most of the time, these mobs will either vanish or die in 1 hit afterwards, but make sure if you have more than 1 valk to let them know to only use the ability 1 at a time, as they will be back.

Watch also for a SOM like absorb, the dragon often has a sheild up that kills off about 80% of the melee damage taken, when its down let the BG know and concentrate firepower on her.

One tip for hunters, on the NW corner of the pad she lands on is a large rock, get up on there for perfect LOS and easy ressing if needed. Dont underestimate hunters in the BG, they do more damage at times than any tank can! SBs also are very handy for the new side style AF debuff.

Shammys shoudl do most of the ressing, leaving healers with less agro and giving quick rebuffs to fallen players, use 25% buff bonus and yellow buffs you can get most of the group done easily should you need to, and keep those cold resists us all of the time, as the entire BG wil constantly be cold debuffed (you have around 6% left if you had 26% to start!)

Dont listen to old wives tales about COTS/procs/dots causing more adds, its random so ignore idiots who say different (its in the grabbag somewhere!). Weapons procs dont make any difference so ignore that too!

Use ventrillo / teamspeak if possible, it makes things so much easier to handle in situations, even if you just have it on listen mode!

When shes down, head back to the NW hill, do ya lotto and win sommit nice!!

If you want a good chance to bag the loot you want do it with 11 people.

You will need 2 warriors with 3+ AOM, 3 healers 2 shammys 3 hunters and a supp rm.

Clear round lair, get your two tanks on the rock and start tanking the dragon, heal classes to be well back, go steady with heals and hunters need to hold fire.

Once dragon down to 95% hunters to move forward and get stuck into the dragon, once dragon starts looking away from the two tanks then hunters to pull off and stealth, RM keeps an eye out for belly adds and confuses when needed.

Rinse and repeat above and you should get some sweet loot in no time.
