I know we have a CS forum, but no-ones been there in ages.

Does anyone have any idea why Steam is asking me to purchase CS Source, Half-life Source etc, even though I've had it since it came out and was playing it yesterday?

I havent deleted them and I would have thought that as long as I log in with Steam properly, even if they had been deleted, Steam would download them again and I could play.

In the Steam window/Games it's saying that the games are pre-loaded, ready to activate....

Steam seems to have that error on mine every now and again as well.

Restarting steam or at most, restarting the computer has always cleared the problem. Seems like its some sort of authentication error as you said.

He's going to Thailand in four weeks, so I suspect we'll never see him again.
