Stupid Ep 1 question
I know I bought it when it came out, but Ive never really had a chance to play it!
Anyway, Ive started now, and Im immediately stuck. You know early on you go on a lift thing down into the bowels of the place, and it gets stuck and you have to grab a ball of energy with your gun thing? Ive done this a couple of times, but now Im stuck on the lift. I grabv a energy ball, shoot it at the control panel opposite, but nothing happens. Why's that then?

Because some fucker with a laser eye thing shoots it out - you need to bounce it in to his little room on the left and kill him before you can proceed.

Depends m8. As far as it goes, its very cheap, you can download it, I have to have it really as I must have all things HL2

Was worth, though I was worried about having a NPC follow me around, as it usually cause more problems but the AI of Alyx is brilliant, best I've seen in a game, shes actually uses the environment and runs away from nades and can kick a Zombies arse with her kicks which is so cool to watch. Finished it last night and it gave me the Halo 2 ending feeling like 'what the hell I want more damm it!' so yeah can't wait till episode 2 but its guna be a long wait as we have to wait for the PS3 to be released first then we can get our hands on it, somebody thinks it will be a good idea to release it on the PC/360/PS3 at the same time. I own a 360 aswell but I would much rather play the HL series on a PC it just makes sense.
(I am sorry for the mini-rant)
