I even think your using a hack to read this post tbh.

But when source was release did everyone move within ten feet of all the servers I go on? I only ask because the number of people I see these days with a ping of <10 is amazing. With 1.6 and the original steam version I rarely, if ever saw a sub 25 ping. Is this a result of rate japery, superior ISP or what?
I've seen people tonight with a ping of 6 and 7, which is frankly, indicative that they are tiny people playing inside the server.

Can someone tell me they are hacking so that I can believe that's why I'm crap?

Well, a few things. First is, if you alt-tab out of game for a minute, then come back, check your ping, its really low, then goes up.
BUT, and a big but, a lot of people run standard rates, or even worse up thier rate to say 20000, but leave thier cmd and update default, ie 20/30 or whatever. This will give an artificially low ping. However it is a scorebaord ping, if they check netgraph u can see its not really that.
Another way, if you change your cmdrate to 5, or 0, you will get a ping of 5 solid on the scorebaord. Its not really 5, it just says that.
All this cna make you slightly harder to hit, but tbh I reckon its all a bit hyped, and ignore it, unless Im in a match, in which case I say OMG FFS RATE HACKING MOTHERFUCKERS JESUS PLAY US ON OUR SERVER YOU BASTARDS!!!

i get a ping on 19 too our BF2 servers.

Thats over Wi-fi and pipex but then it is onyl 4 hops down the wire and i'm in london alrdy

The very first time I played CS:S, was the day it came out. I got banned for cheating. 8 ping had nothing to do with it.
