Considering a return...

Afternoon folks.

I am giving strong consideration to reactivating my EU subs and Playing Eu classic once more.

I have a RR6, fully templated Heretic, that i admit to prefer playing in RvR. Naturally i dont mind helping out with PVE if neccicary.

Could anyone offer some insight into wether it would be worth reactivating?

For a start... are there any english speaking guilds active on albion at the moment?
Whats the RvR scene like at the moment?

Sieges?
Soloing?
Groups?
Zergs?

last time i played the rvr was quite good at primetime and the solo was decent.. never did recover from the french tho.

I am afraid Glastonbury is pretty dead. There are a few people still playing the server but the majority are Germans who don't use this forum. Sorry I can't be more helpful but don't expect much response here

Avengers of Pendragon is still there (mixed nationalitys but /gu is in english). They moved ower to a german /as not long ago but there is some german talking persons in the guild (Faya, the GM for one), so if something needs trancelation ect, there shouldnt be a problem.

I, my self, has been coned by some IRL friends to start play on US so I mostly plays ower there but I still try to log on at Glaston atleast once a week.

With latest Archer Patch - if your a visible - set one foot outside and the L33t Ranger Squads will turn you into a pin cusion, the new "Magic" arrows seem to be harder to block, and Hibs seem to get a snare element in theirs, not sure if its a proc. My Friar now no longer evades any arrows - so with no defence all I can do to get RP is to heal - we all know how good Friars are at healing

No Mids to speak of, all playing Hib acc, Hibs have all 6 relics. Oh and every night 1 Hib grp goes round breaking all the Alb ports and taking all the main keeps. So everyday we have to get them back, not enough Guilds/players to claim all the keeps - so a lost cause. So few Albs playing that we cannot hold any Keep.

So game is as good as finished, with the poor Hibs pushing any chance of play out the door.

So - go USA - will die their aswell - but take a bit longer.

Don't bother to come back, last time I checked Midgard, 80% of the alliance had moved to Temair. The situation is exactly like some1 described it above - hibs own 6 relics and feed on leech-repairing. Rangers - although given the tools to solo - prefer to zerg, and with MoC3 any average-RR ranger can kill you easily, since you never evade arrows.
My advice .... play some shooters and wait for WAR.

Moved to US my self. A lot better there but I miss my heretic, playing hib now and all.
