I'll start from the end
![]() Parry vs multiple enemies have gotten a boost, AND since the 39hammerstyle Lambast got a nice dd proc attached to it, and is only possible to use after you parried. Meaning MoParry is a nice investment, both for defence and for the melee dps (hammer dps that is). MoBlock is never wrong, the lvl to invest depends on playstyle, if you mainly solo, duo or group. As well as balance in regards to other ra's. Static Tempest is a great utility. Each stun-tick reset the stuntimer, meaning that either in between each tick or more easily executed when ST is gone, it is possible to slam (or whatever stun, as healer single/ae stuns) for another 9 second. Another 9 second that you won't take damage from that enemy AND free hits on the very same target. ST is also good to use for interrupt purpose, Thanes don't got quickcast, but we got instas, DoomHammer, rr5 and ST, wich allow us to kite, or interrupt/short stun, at range/close up and make it possible to land that last nuke/style/doomhammer. dual threat - no higher then lvl1, but at your rr i suggest wildpower2 and mopain1 (or just wp1, and invest those points elsewhere). long wind - lvl1 is still good, higher is a waste of points because of the new end/hp/pow regen rates plus the lvl30/end reg 3 pots thats cheap to carry around and let you permasprint (lw1 and end reg3 pot is enough for that yes, nowadays). purge - lvl1 or 2 at your rr. IF you ran in a set full grp ALL the time, purge3 could be nice, but it will use up so many points that it leave your dps both melee and casting wise, as well as your defence in a shabby state. Then again, in fg's the healers/warriors can purge your mezz, and if you get rooted it's not a problem really, for a thane, DoomHammer and nukes/instas is your friend. Determination - yes it's pretty good but only at lvl 4-5, meaning LOTS of points, no use to getting lvl1 or 2, waste of points and about no noticeable effect. DoomHammer: It's a great tool and with good template it's possible to do 400-1000 dmg with it (if 2-hand at least, if 1-hand still 400-700 dmg). But' it's not only for the damage, but to take down bubbles etc when you charge a caster(+pbt =wardens etc), or when that pesky stealther slowed you down and is running because he/she is about to die, and you have 2-3 seconds to do anything before they get into stealth/out of los/healer or you are about get mezzed/stunned/nuked/pa'd/killed. 2 thanes that assist could both DH+ranged single insta 1 caster and kinda insta kill it, at range and when you're at the move/attacked/out of power/end. DH is great, one just have to get used with it, and learn to time it, the 10 sec disarm could be devastating if done at the wrong moment. Also it often proc the energy debuff proc (selfbuff) that make you nuke all the harder some seconds right after the use of DoomHammer. Hammer is nice, excellent in pve, but the dps is lacking enormous vs 50sword, or even sword34(very nice anytime swordstyle with dd proc) (and now i must back to class, so can't give more info about the subject, other than the dps with 34sword is probably 75-100% as good as the dps of 39hammer). Shield42 is great. 50sc is what makes a thane a thane really (if low/medium sc one is ALOT better off with a valkyrie that got same sword style dd procs) If you got more questions i'd be happy to try to answer them, later today

Great info so far I must thank you, as I have a couple of respecs I am going to try sword, oh it hurts to lose my hammer , its what makes me a thane but still I just want to see the Damage differents.
Thanks also for the info on Realm Point Skills, I wil try out some of the things you have posted. I am sure there will be more questions later.
