whats rvr like now since cluster?

so whats the rvr like on glast now its been clustered?

mixed reports about how easy it is to find your way in german, if im already templated and rvr ready will this matter much? just the reply and climb walls thing that doesnt work?

any info appreciated

I returned from US classic to Euro classic with the main reason my SB is decent rr and my US chars arent. So far i like the new cluster. German language isnt a real problem in RvR, atleast if you are soloing like me, only problem i have is to recognize the enemy rr. Iam Dutch and the German language looks abit like it, i think English ppl have more difficulties with it.

RvR is more fun then on US, mainly because the US server have more ppl and most of them adding like hell, even rr 8-9 peeps team up and hunting for soloers, pretty bad actualy.

I see some respect on his cluster, offcourse there are zergs and adders but alot of the German players let you finish a duel and i like that.

The rvr is quite nice, a little bit too much zerging, but if you want to run 8 vs 8, you can still do that. Had quite a lot of nice 8 vs 8 fights without any add's.

I cant really find out if people run in Agramon ( those who want 8 vs 8 I mean ), been there a few times only to find 1 enemy grp there or sometimes none at all.

About the reply key and climbing walls.... you just need to change your update.dat from "english" to "german" and you wont have any problems there.

Also the language isent that bad anymore, im danish though, so had a bit german in school. But really if you played this game for sometime, most of the basic stuff should lie in your backbone.

I'd say its worth a try for you.

It's good fun tbh. They do zerg as a rule - it seems that's the way it's played on Salisbury. More a realm vs realm than grp vs grp
I'm liking it - the language is np at all, most German grps will speak English for you if you ask them to. I've yet to meet a German who can't speak almost perfect English

It,s a lot of fun u can find all forms of rvr,1 vs 1,8 v 8 and big fights between 3-4 grps on both sides(my favourites ),so imo rvr is better on cluster then it was when glast had a large populations.
Hell if even i ,as a thane get grps then its definatly better .

RvR was quite exhausting tonight, with Albion zerging Midgard. But it's still fun and finally my dream came through of an all-european Classic server, because I speak English, French and German. ^^

But I must say that the British and Scandinavian population is very low in Midgard, I didn't meet any yet. Those who can't speak German are mainly French.

One thing I like with the Germans is that they aren't so discriminating when it comes to classes. A good group is composed of 1 pac healer, 1 aug healer, 1 shammy, 1 skald and 4 random chars. Those random chars can be whatever they like to be except of course the other 4 prefixed classes and stealthers.

Sorry we just don't like fighting Hibs with their mega-zerg and their every ground having at least 2 PBAE or CAE (kinda ruins RvR the way NF works) so we prefer a more balanced fight.

We're a bit mean since you've no relics but it's more fun for us to fight you than to fight the Hibs Plus, we're good mates so there's never hard feelings

I dont like the way albs get their relics at 5 am in the morning,yes i know its a 24 hour game but still taking relics without anyone defending them its a sign of weakness.
I dont understand why its always only mid relics that r taken,i mean if u take undefended relics take them all.

The Albs who do it are a small minority, mostly from Canada actually so the middle of the night is their primetime. Some are nightshift workers too. I think the reason the Hib relics never get taken is the Hibs also have a load of night players so it makes taking the relics 2fg vs 2fg almost impossible.

Talking about weekness...Mids and Hib have a ac rr same day same time
and guess what.... same realm...

Its a 24h game and there is nothing wrong playing daoc at 03.00.
I think its a intresting "coincident" that hib and mid rr same realm
same time.. Every realm have done a ac raid. But for me its the
1st time 2realms ac RR the same realm. Your realm aint better
than the other realms.

One of the objetives in this game is to take or defend relics.
Like it or not thats a fact. Now its our time to take em back.


Personaly i am not dedicated enough to do ac raids but
if ppl want to do it... then ok
AC or Canadians doesnt matter as its not against CoC .

and as far as ac raid go i am nonplused by them they happen on all sides eg the other morning i woke up mids had taken back blen nott then come to alb taken beno eres surs hurb rens and 3 relics total while they were doin that hibs took berks also they had been busy bees indeed so as you can see it happens on all realms.
btw bout u old dog when are you going to stop kidding yourself that you are mid and cpome home to alb i need a translator to sort these germans out and show them how to kill mo0re efficintley lol hope u r ok m8 and will keep looking to kill u as im sure u will me
