Alliances of Glastonbury and Salisbury

Hello there,

As the classic servers have been clustered I thought it would be a good idea to create and keep updated a thread showing what the main alliances are on which realms in terms of "language favoured". This will help a lot in letting each other know who we all are and help find guilds/alliances to suit.

As this thread is only on Freddy's House and so isn't likely to be viewed by everyone on these servers, I've contacted GOA and asked them to lend a hand it getting the message across to as many people as possible so that this thread serves a purpose rather than just dying out. And if someone could maybe post a link on JeuxOnline or 4players as well to this thread.

GOA have agreed to help and will, with luck, be posting a little information and a link to this thread in their Friday News so as many people as possible are made aware.

If you are the leader of an Alliance and want to help out, please post below with the following information and I will get this post updated with your information:

- The name of your alliance.
- Realm it is based on.
- Language most favoured in the alliance.
- Anything else you think might be useful for other guilds and alliances to know, for example, where your forums are, or who are good people to contact about your alliance. (Please keep it short - no more than a few lines, for ease of reading!)



Realm Alliances

Albion:

Red Shadows Alliance - The RSA as far as I'm aware is the last remaining English speaking Alliance on Alb/Glastonbury, but we're by far from just English people, we just share that common language in the /as channel. A friendly Alliance, chatting about anything and everything, and RvR as often as possible. We're open to any guilds joining us as long as they're willing to speak the common language of the alliance (as we're still learning German ), and are looking for a German guild to join our ranks with the hope of connecting further with our new friends from Salisbury. Amnesia Alliance - The Amnesia alliance is a friendly alliance of casual players and occasional full groups in RvR. Mostly speaking French, but language is no barrier and many guilds have people from many places (English, Italian etc). Open to new guilds and players all the time. New recruits and guilds wishing to join this alliance should visit http://amnesia.positifforum.com/ and fill out a short CV. The main contact for Amnesia is Harpo or Fajen.


Arcane Alliance - The Arcane alliance is a mostly French speaking /as (/as is currently made up of only French guilds). The alliance is made up of small guilds that try to do 8vs8 combat. No one leader in this alliance, the guilds all vote on a new guild being accepted. Can contact anyone in Arcane if you have any more questions. Aurora Borealis - Aurora Borealis alliance is an English speaking /as but open to any guild from any langauge joining and many guilds are also looking to take on members if you're looking for a guild. (this may need updating by a mod as more information becomes available)

There's a German thread linking to this on the 4players.de forums. Taizan, who is the lead German community manager has posted in English and in German to let people know about this.

The German GMs do speak English but they are not native speakers. If you need to talk to them in English, please make sure that you try and be as clear as possible, I know many English players are also speaking English as a second or third language and so to minimise confusion, you should take some care with the way you write to them.

Saddly the mid english as is not doing great,just not enough ppl in it to do any kind of events,most of the members r scatered around in whats left of the english guilds.
So i,m interested to know if there is any german as, who welcomes english speaking guilds,couse joining another as seems the only way to save whats left of the english players on mid classic.

As far as i know, RS AS is dead, with only active guild Avengers of Pendragon and 1 or 2 other players from different guilds.
Avengers got a daily player log on of 10+ and we looking for a new ALBION AS, english would be fine but as im not aware of any other english AS in ALBION we are looking for a German AS aswell. If you interested in our guild joining your AS feel free to pm any of our members.
and yes, a good idea would be to ask the same in german forums, i might even do that

Well english as and guilds r preety dead on all realms on classic,i think only chance for the players, is to join german guilds that if any of the german guilds want them.

Just to be clear, yeah the Red Shadows guild no longer has an active GM.

Ste was the last one to play but I believe he's moverd on now also. I've moved US servers with some of the members of RS and other guilds and EU servers, whilst the third GM Weeny moved to Vanguard and now US servers.
