Ico's quick and dirty first aid translation table

I've seen some people jumping between different IRC channels like #camelot-de or #daoc-classic just to find out what's the German word for some particular NPC or item.
So I just created this small "first aid translation table". Please note that some items may be wrong spelled or spelled completely different, because there are 2 or more different possible words that all might match in either language.

Feel free to comment/add/correct this list at any time.

In the German version of DAoC many female class/race names are spelled differently compared to the male names! In most cases you'll be able to find all players of one class just by searching for the male name (see list below) or by using the first half of the name. (It's a little bit like "sorcerer" - "sorceress" etc.)

Can't find a specific word on this list or some trouble with a quest? Ask ingame (just use simple English and there should be someone understanding all the time) or use an IRC client and feel free to join #camelot-de on QuakeNet and just ask your question there. There should always be at least 1-2 people reading, but an answer might take some time so just be patience.

Some special characters like ÄÖÜäöüß are not fully supported by DAOC. It may happen, that when you try to search for an item at the market places, and you use these characters in your search, you just find nothing.

However if you need to enter these special letters you will find them on the german(!) Keyboard as at the following keys:

To switch to the german keyboard you may install them on Windows XP (rightlick on EN Symbol on your task bar).
