On a serious note putting aside the lies for a moment, why do you feel the need to cut all the ports? Really? I can see the reasoning if you're defending a captured relic but when there's no ports up except Hurb and Ren, then you cut ports to Hib you're causing EXACTY the same problems that caused the desertion of the server in the first place.

Why do I personally feel this need? I don't, really. After retaking dc, and leaving spasm grp to retake crim, our grp took surs because bold (where our relic is) is purple con, and we figured we could not take this with 1fg. So we opened up the port to get more hibs into pennine after they'd finished with crim. But unfortunately our grp split early as ppl had to log, so we didn't get as far as going for bold.

Looking at the warmap, I see hibs have taken beno, which I guess is what u are complaining about. To give a speculative answer to your question, here's what I think.

Having seen the state of the hib frontier, logging in over the past week or 2, I see that dc port is almost always cut, and albs have 2-3 keeps. Before we claimed nged/dc at purple con, the albs would surely have taken these as well.

My theory is that albs have been dominating this server for a long time while the pop has been low, and that hibs are enjoying a taste of revenge.

The funny thing is, I don't remember seeing any whine threads on here from hibs complaining about albs taking their keeps. But it's amusing to see that as soon as we take some alb keeps, its the end of the world as we know it, and the toys have left albion's collective pram.

Ooh I just noticed, hibs not only have the relic back from bold, but have the alb str relic too.

I guess it was a relic raid after all - so maybe this is the definitive answer to your question Phil. In order to open the relic gate, hibs would necessarily have to take multiple alb keeps, thereby cutting ports in the process.

Totally missing the point of my question. I didn't mention anything about relic raids, or attacking a realm to open up iRvR but simply asked, why does your guild feel the need to cut ports to RvR all the time? There was a port to Emain and we were having a laugh till you came, ignored the actual fun of fighting us at the keep then went and cut port.

Don't say you don't do it, because you do, and you can't claim it's because you're part of a relic raid as by your own admission you knew nothing about that.

For another example, everyone's having fun up near Beno, ports are open, good laugh all round, and lo, TLM will turn up, take Beno 3 or 4, then claim it like you're actually proud of the fact you're being boring twats and stopping everyone playing!

I have np with a relic raiding, but you lot have been back only a little while and already the server's feeling the pain of your pointless port cutting speciality

Well we all know how much water TLM derived theories hold. Up until a few weeks ago the Hibs were still running around in large numbers (% wise of the server population anyway) with very few Albs around and maybe 1 or 2 mids. Heres a quote from a thread found in this very rvr section...

This quote is a little over 3 weeks old and shows quite clearly that the Hibs own almost everything, and know that thru weight of numbers can make all the realms green.

I think it's fair to say that TLM aren't really a guild to let little things like facts or history get in the way of your theories, guesses and exaggerated claims.

Well, last night there was 390 people on and 135 on Albion, 60 of whom were under 50 XPing up - probably German players rolling alts.

We cluster in two days. Can't see the problem?
