FH Photo Comp #4
As suggested by Tom, this is the official photo competition thread.
Subject The subject is Heritage , chosen by Billargh winner of Photo Comp #3 Deadline 17th October, 21:00 Prize Picking the next comps subject. Rules * The photo must be your own * No text that isn't part of the original photo * No merging of more than one photo * Keep photos to a sensible size. It shouldn't be tiny, and viewers shouldn't have to scroll. * Max of three entries. Multiple entries of the same shot from different angles etc not allowed. * Entries must be within the CoC (no cock, no flange) * Allowed 'shopping : Rotating (finished image must be cropped to a rectangle), cropping, resizing, red-eye removal, lens correction (only to remove lens distortion, chromatic abberation and light falloff, etc.), non-selective image adjustments (changing levels throughout full image, blur, sharpen, noise reduction etc), gradient masks (linear only) for exposure correction NB. there is now more time as you people are sloooooow in creating your art

I snapped this on my phone today, Buchanan Street in Glasgow; apologies for the lack of professionalism in the snap. Between the BoS building and the drummer in the kilt; it encapsulates two very important historical Scottish brands/themes.

Some pics from i took in barca. One is more obvious cultural heritagy stuff, the other is of a party which every street does every year as part of some celebration they have.

Oh.. Just to up my odds... Friday 17th is my bday (21
). If I win (ha) I won't be able to pick the next shot, as I'm heading home that weekend and won't be near a PC till the sunday night.
