it seems to me that this daoc break( i had several) will be the end of daoc for me ...

ealiere you had to wait for the rigth class's .. now you need to wait for the rigth class's + ML's + toa'ised gear.....

maybee worse for albs than for other realms i dunno .. but tbh it is insane to wait hours and hours for the rigth group...

well thats the way i see it so rather than wait for a group go and solo a bit, exp artifacts, farm a bit of cash, whatever, then join/make the group when everyone is ready

Yea it's almost impossible to play without presetup, most ppl without MLs and TOA SC are just cannon fodder.

It's possible to replace 1-2-3 ppl, but impossible to get random TOA FG. So u need to have at least same 5-6 people every evening to make group, then u can play more then sit.

Precisely why 1fg rvr is just about screwed now for the average player. To seriously run with a decent fg now you pretty much have to accept that you're gonna lose 99 out of 100 against the 24/7 brigade (in the past you'd have a chance with all RAs up) and hope you stumble across an average group away from the zerg. This is why so many people end up running as 2fg+ now...

Was the same reaction I had when I returned to daoc a month ago. I was blown away by how poor the game had become with its numerous timesinks and pve grind features (arti xp'ing). The game is no where near as good as it was sadly.

As for groups, I experienced my first fg at lv41 lmao, says it all.

I personally think that for people that dont play too often, not in a good gear/high RR can run 2fgs, they dont have a chance with even numbers, or well they havea chance but that is rather small. ALso the randomgroup setups arent exactly 3healers, shaman and so on.

2unbalanced fgs are a challenge for a good fg, and not impossible to kill at all.

However I do not support zerging, zerg meaning enemy having no chance because of huge numbers of the enemy.

read: when 3 ppl kill a fg´it´s not a zerg, when fg kills 3 ppl it is. Got it?
