Pick up the keys that are in front of the chest and then right-click on it. Providing it's the correct key then the key in your inventory will be replaced by a RoG MP item (weapon, armour, items - anything).

There are keys on the ground next to them. If there aren't keys then wait about 30-40 seconds for them to repop.
