Did someone call the CSL a rep mobile?
Holy christ, nothing could be any further from the truth, the howl of that 3.2 straight six leaves moist patches in my pants. No turbos, no superchargers; just muscle. I see Audi's new RS4 bins turbos in favour of natural aspiration too.

I see what gaffer is getting at with the repmobile comment. The M3/M3 CSL do lack in the looks department and they are "just another BMW" in most cases when they are seen.
In terms of performance they are both very good cars and as much as I dislike all those repmobiles and the HUGE amount of cocks in BMW's who live near me and think they are uber bling machines, I can't say they are bad cars. As for TVR acceleration, there are a lot of cars with gut destroying acceleration. Cars such as the Evo, Skyline and Silvia will all muller your insides when pushed. They don't all sound that bad either, but the TVR's do win in the noise department

I don't care if it can blow the doors off 911s; it just doesn't do it for me. Integrale is kind of the exception that proves the rule, maybe because its Italian (I've owned 3 Alfas and a Fiat so I know all about pain) and because there were so few of the bread and butter Deltas around it kept the Integrale special. I took a proper look at a CSL this weekend (there's a specialist sportscar second-hand place around the corner from me - he had a Vanquish and 911 GT3 in there as well), and...too much like my old 330Ci inside, better outside, but...nah, still couldn't see me buying one. |

Want to know the performance car that's lacking most in the looks department? Step forward Nissan, for designing your Skyline mainly with rulers you are the weakest link in car design. You didn't need to prove it with the old 200SX Touring tho, we already got the point.

I think the R34 looks alright actually, though perhaps not as good as a car of its calibre should look - the previous models look totally bland though.

Infiniti G35. Cooler than a 3-series? Infiniti FX45 - finest looking SUV in the world? I don't think either looks like every other Japanese car ever made. The FX45 in particular, makes every other SUV (except Range Rovers) look like crap (if you like that sort of thing). |

G35 - Cooler than a 3 series? If cool = bland then yeah I guess it is.
And that FX45 looks like a lardy Mazda 2/3 with big wheels. Hardly the best looking SUV on the market. |

Hmm, imo the G35 looks like a bland 350z and the FX45? Well it's an SUV :\

I'm sorry, but that overweight Mazda 3 has zero presence compared to the daddy of the SUV market. Range Rovers? Pah, posh Fords which break down a lot (not to be confused with Astons, which are REALLY posh Fords which break down a lot).

Buy a proper hummer - original military style is the only way to own a humvee without looking like a real shit gangsta lamer
