Land of The Dead, the fourth of George Romero's zombie quadrilogy is released. The zombies have now taken over the world, apart from one small strip of land. Dennis Hopper stars, and Simon "Shaun of The Dead" Pegg cameos.

I thought the new Dawn of the Dead was one of the films of the year to be honest, cant wait for this one!

He did the recent Dawn of the Dead didnt he? And that rocked, I esp liked the soundtrack, Disturbed - Down with the sickness, just seemed an inspired choice for the theme! I loved the classical style cover of it in the middle too when they were shooting zombies with the sniper rifle

I don't think Romero had a lot of input in the remake (or 're-imagining'), it was done by some vox-pop video director and lots of studio executives. Was still pretty good though. Just goes to show; zombies kick ass.
