Hey fellas. Long time no.....erm....read??

Ive been really rather busy of late, what with new job (position anyway), racing and, oh, getting married too

I havnt been on in *ahem* ages due to the fact that most of my old posting was done at work, and for some really pissy reason, Freddys is now blocked even though other forums arent. Anyone know of a way round this pain_in_the_arse issue, let me know please.

Anyway, just though Id drop in and say Hi, might get chance now to post a bit more too....you lucky lot!!

Yeah, we took the plunge after just 14yrs together and got married 29th March just gone. Cracking day it was, reception/night d etc in the garden in a rather hooge marquee, I'll post a couple of pics when I get chance.

House full of ladies is hectic to say the least. 9 & 6 now (omg, I can still remember posting when Tilly was born
) It seems that there isnt a day goes by that there isnt at least 4 kids running around at home when I finish work.......which is noisy and messy tbh.

Teeds, you still riding much, what about Will, has he rememberd how to change gear yet?? Ive done a couple of MTB races this year so far, with reasonable success, but not as much as Id like. Doing a couple of sportives later this year, so need to build up the miles really, then into the cross season, for which Ive just bought a pair of lovely new bikes, although Ive changed the wheels and tyres for both to Kysirum SL's.

Cant wait for the cross season to start, short sharp races suit my limited amount of training time just perfectly. As for the kiscking baby, I'll see what I can do.......

woo not bad bikes heehee Will's riding loads ofc, not only does he now have but one gear, he also rides fixed, meaning he's completely daft imo, but he likes it, so bless 'im (technically he can bless himself, as he's a minister)

me, I'm continually "getting back into it", so business as usual there. I do 50km road rides in comfort, and I've just bought a PlanetX CX bike called an Uncle John, with 105 kit and PX C (or was it B?) type wheels and full road tyres. Rode it today for the inaugural tweak-n-thrash for 60 km and it didn't fall apart and I didn't die, though I do want a shorter stem atm cos I'm reaching a bit to the bars and the shifting needs some work. No racing for me though, as always I stand in sheer awe of you, who trains, rides, and does races o0

well, post some more if you can, let me know how you fare with the bikes, and much late congrats on the wedding!

Gears are overrated. I did enter one race this year, but I only made it as far as the beer stop, and that was the end of my race.
