Well they've certainly upped the gore-quotient compared to the last one, but they've also thrown out a shitload of continuity. Personally loads of offal on screen does nowt for me, so I'll pass. Its a shame because the comics proved that the idea of Aliens v. Predator is a good one, if you bother to get a decent writer.

I didnt mind AVP, I'm not saying its the best film in the world or anything, but I quite enjoyed parts of it.
This new one looks great to me, (atleast from the trailer), wont beable to tell for sure untill I watch it but tbh I'm looking forward to it!

AvP wasn't really bad, it was just nothing special. Very basic, predictable movie.
Still I will watch this one simply because it has Aliens and Predators in it. And hope they can pull off something worthy of both franchises.

Looking at the trailer I think it might have worked had it just been a predator film but bringing aliens to an enviroment other than a cramped claustraphobic one is just wrong in my opinion. They belong in the future on industrial spaceships.
The only way I'll be watching this one is illegally, so none of the money goes towards the idiots that gave it the greenlight. I'd rather my money funded someone's drug habit than this current trend of pathetic cash ins.
