Time to Try a Game...Which One??

I have one game on my PS3 (Devil May Cry) and I thought it was utter turd.

My favourite games of all time are Zelda, Secret of Mana, SF. I absolutely hate turn based RPGs, such as the Final Fantasy series....HATE THEM!

I quite like Metal Gear Solid but feel I won't like it now, it was a bit rambling.

I also like footy games but I don't want to suss out the way to score then win everything by knowing that (Fifa).

I hate racing games.

Any ideas luvs, its a bit sad to have this console and not use it for at least 1 game and I have no idea at all of whats out there or whats good or not.

mgs4 is worth a try imho. also Uncharted is preety good.
Siren is preety amazing if you like horror based games.
warhawk was fun during beta has big following. you may also wana try heavenly sword, should be cheap for a second hand game. preety short game it is too tho

on psn theres everyday shooter if you like classic old sk00l games, and echorome.

multiformat games theres Unreal tourney, can use kb/mouse and supports mods. GTA4,

you may also wana look at ratchet and clank, but stay away from haze

fifa and pro evo are not like they used to be Trem. The challenge is still there, and there is always the option of playing online against real peeps. I would wait a month for the new versions of both though.

you could rent the old versions for now to see if they will hold your interest?

Try a PSN game. Pixeljunk Eden or Monsters, Siren, Super Stardust HD, Bionic Commando: Rearmed (if you like a difficult retro experience) are all good buys. All have demos available, though not all on the EU store

Agree on Uncharted, it is great.

PES6 is the best for me in my opinion.

Fifa08 was fun but i never felt the addiction like i had for PES6.

I am playing PES6 again now still addictive must play around 10+ games a day on xbox live

What do you think of BCR? Haven't seen anyone here mention it at all. I think it's fucking fantastic. Challenge rooms are so addictive - I have to drag myself away from trying to shave another few milleseconds off my times

Need more, I do fancy PES used to love that on the SNES, well Winning Eleven but it just looks so different now.

It just took me 199 tries in one session to pass challenge 18 (Trial and Error). =D

Was so gratifying to finally beat it, and then disheartening to see people beating my time by 5 secs!

Addicted to these fuggin' challenges.
