The Wii comes with a composite cable (yellow for picture and white and red for audio - white is for mono sound )
All Wii's come with Wii Sports and One Wiimote and one nunchuck. A sensible purchase is to get Wii Play which gives you 5 or 6 mini games which can be fun and help you get used to the remote plus you get a remote with the game so you just need to purchase another nunchuck for full on two player action i.e. boxing and battle tanks. I've not played Mario Kart myself as I can't say I've ever really been a fan. Games I've currently got are Endless Ocean (diving simulator and only really one for those who are into diving simulators (sic)) and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (an on rails horror shooter, just like in the arcades). I've had a go at Zelda: The Twilight Princess and tbh it's not my sort of thing but if you're into 3d RPG puzzle solving type games then go for it as it's supposed to be the best. I've only kept hold of my mate's copy cos it is needed to help you run the Twilight hack so you can run homebrew on your wii i.e. Megadrive/SNES/NES/Gameboy emulators etc. I'm sure someone else will come along who's played a fair few more games than I have on the wii but I love it just the same. Great fun with friends and family.

1) You really need component with the wii, the increase in picture quality is more than noticeable. I would invest in a component cable to use with your TV if that is an option, An third party one will probably cost you about £15. With your PC the composite looks like your only option 2) Wii - Hardware - Hardware Bundle at GAME.co.uk Wii bundle at woolworths Wii bundles do not really represent much value, the GAME bundles are not saving you any money, and where they are you are only talking £10. The woolies bundle saves you £15, but that is only with sega superstar tennis. This GAME bundle Wii Console with Mario Kart, Wii Play and Extra GAMEware Wheel - Online Exclusive Bundle (Wii) - free UK delivery at GAME.co.uk saves you £6, but gives you a lot. Enough for 2 player Mario kart. It may be worth checking blockbusters, they tend to have good bundles. As the wii still sells so well there is no need for retailers to offer the kind of savings you see on MS and Sony consoles. If you go with the GAME bundle for £254.49, you are looking at £60 for another 2 wii remotes, and £45 for three more nunchucks -you need to buy both seperetly to make use of up to four players in most games. So £359 before you have bought the component cable or any other games. Games are £30 on average per title.
