Spend More for 8 char slots and other stuff

Seems a bit off to be enticing people to up the subs so they can get 8 Char slots, although it also gives you access to a bunch of other games, original Everquest, Everquest Online Adventures, Planetside and some sother 'station games'.
I still think this is a bit slimy of SOOOE.

I really wonder why Station Pass doesn't include Star Wars too. It could possibly make it more attractive having a fantasy and a science fiction MMORPGs in one subscription.

But this was reasonable, more money more things
Maybe next they will offer 1 slot for every extra paying option too!!

Ive still only got the one character, tried to create an alt and have some names reserved, but i just cant stop playing my paladin.

One slot is enough for me at the moment, 4 will be more than ample.

It's because SOE don't own the game per sé, they only develop and host it. Lucasarts own all the rights to the game and as such don't allow SOE to include it on the all access subscription, mostly because they want money too and including it on the AAP would exclude them from some of the profit

Your right Tears, I only play one slot, Gengee, also a Paladin, well wannabe, my other slots are taken by my son, but it's not a case of how many slots you have or will use, its the 'we have the ability to let you have more slots but we won't give it to you unles you dish up more dosh'. My wife opted for a couple of the $1.99 options at sign up, I don't think she has used them.

8 character slots would allow you to play one of each archetype in both Qeynos and Freeport, which would alleviate a major bugbear I remember from DaOC, where you could not play all 3 realms on an English language normal ruleset server. ( I only ever played Hib , but that has more to do with the way I work than anything else)

I also may e miffed because I cannot play for another fortnight

One other thing, how could anyone have enough hours in the day to play more than one of the games it offers ????????

Did you know FFXI only allowed one character, and charged you $0.99 a month for each additional one you wanted to create. If all MMORPGS were the same wouldnt life be boring

SoE add an option where you can double the amount of character storage space you have, and people complain they have to pay for it ? How stupid is that.

Stop thinking that EQ2 is like any other MMORPG or company, and you wont be disapointed.

I am not complaining Tears, though it does sound a bit like that, I just think the timing is a bit off, I think they could have waited a few months.
The bundle they are offering is excellent value. The extra games alone are worth way more than 6 bucks, and the 8 char option is a wonderful addition.

In honesty they should have announced it at the start rather than now, would have been alot easier,

4 chars for $14.99
8 chars and EQ,EQOA,PS for $21.99

Shame that you can't get the all action pass if you've had an Ubisoft EQ subscription in the past. So if I wanted to play EQ2 and Planetside and get 8 character slots it'd cost me (2 x $14.99) + $12.99 = $42.97 / month plus those $4.99 adventure packs that all access people get for free.

Yay what a rip off.

if you want to play EQ2 and Planetside you just get station pass with $21 and get to play rest of the games too if you want?!

they are actually going to add star wars galaxies to the packet on the 1st of Febuary ... i myself have already bought the packet as i play planetside, starwars galaxies and soon everquest2

Actually Final Fantasy XI started this. They get one character, and pay extra $ for additional character sluts.
