Newbie in EQII

I was wondering if there are any easy ways to get gold in EQII?
My wife and I are about level 10 and we haven't gained more than a few
silver coins each, not even enough to keep the equipment up at level

I personally think the loot is horrible... You need 1000 copper coins to
get one silver and... when you loot a level 10 monster, you get some chunk
of meat worth 6c... Where's the logic?

Its 100 copper to a silver... Just keep hoping for weapon / armour drops that you can sell as they usually go for a silver which is enough to get a piece of armour or so...

But supposidly money is always difficult unless you a crafer then it literally grows on trees...

best way is to craft to artisan 8, then sell the basic adept 3 spells for mages. they go for 4-5sp each. it probably only costs about 5sp to get to artisan 8. then it costs just over 1sp to make a spell. i started with 8sp now i got 45.

Around L10+ things get better, in the last few days ive been leveling the commonlands and seem to pickup about 10-15 silver each trip, apparently when your 15+ it gets even better still.

Do some quests too there a great way to get some cash, and your items updated, just replaced my whole toon with chainmail and it only cost a few silver as the rest was quested.

Try hunting bears and wolves around Antonica Claymore area, the bows that they drop sell for 3sp each , bear hides 1sp each. Also quests are decent money.
Well like someone already suggested - the cash that you make selling adepts 3 is seriously out of this league of my little suggestions.

u cant go wrong with em, make food all the way to level 8, then advertise you will make spells to order. that way you wont waste money making stuff no one wants. aslong as you do 4sp you will sell, but if no one else is advertising then you can go 5sp

By the time you get to level 30 you will be getting vendor trash worth 3-4 gold pieces each. I love the money system in EQ2 - your first gold piece really means something, and you dont get people trawling round with 100,000 platinum pieces.

During Beta (with about a month to go) one of the devs posted that the entire total value of the economy on the beta 1 server was 22 platinum pieces.

Money really means something in this game. In beta I didn't get my first gold piece until I was level 19.
