Runnyeye.net
Wow, that was quick! There is a new server community set up already at http://www.runnyeye.net for everyone playing on the Runnyeye (UK) server.
![]() Please pass the word around so that we can get a decent server community going asap!

Hang on, what's the point of this when there are official UK forums here ? The devs won't be listening to a thing you guys say there, and believe me, they will do on the official forums.
Quite likely these are just to make someone feel important.....guess WoW fanboi's will be congregating here too to take the piss. |

mmm theres bound to be quite a few sites popping up that people are gona use, but my advice would be to stick with 1. Im staying here as it is alot easier than moving to a whole new community. I'll probly just use the official forums for refernce or to take the piss now and then.

Oh jesus, the retards have arrived.
Runnyeye.net is going to end up being a total bitchpit and is frankly a total waste of time. One loan retard has taken it upon himself to start "The UK Forums" which he did before even checking the official boards, citing that SOE "probably wouldn't" set boards up. But they did. So congratulations, you gormless pleb - you've succeeded in diluting the area of which people will discuss EQ2 on the UK servers. Twat. |

![]() Ohh and as you can see - the forums are down now - looks like they tried to install an update without trying it on a test system first, really clever |

I'm not wearing a tinfoil hat but can't say that I like the idea of these people holding so much data on players. I'm sure the guy who set it up is trustworthy but he has probably already made all his buddies mods and all it takes is one of them to decide that wants to cause some trouble after quitting the game and there are gonna be problems. Seen at least two examples over the years of guild webmasters deciding to publish privelidged info after a falling out.
That said I'm also pro-choice. Runnyeye.net has been pretty good for me checking the status of other UK residents orders and it won't be as heavily modded as the official forums. I've never seen a server message board that has been used particularly contructively, and a lot of them are steaming cesspools but it'll have its uses. Class based communities really turned out well in EQ1 because most people there are on the same side, so it's nice to see a few of those turning up already for EQ2.
