There are a number of bits off Scrap Heap Challenge that I like to follow.

The Hydra Tri scrap looks very interesting:

Then there are the Boob engagements as part of the fly by shooty thing.

The Bob thing seems to be backfiring though. It must be hard to keep that alliance occupied....

Got a friend who's just joined pure, he's having a lot of fun at the moment. Need to talk to him about their comedy Nyx hijack loss though

Scrapheap is in general a good site to follow. The new GBBS moderation seems to be working at the moment. CCP's no alt corps in CAOD plan is completely doomed to failure

One thing I like about Scrapheap is that the rules are very very clear and the modding heavy. They almost stopped the section a while back because people were posting flames and discussion instead of simply reporting on the action. COAD is bloody awful - its very rare to find a decent thread on that board.

I don't think MAX works as BoB intended atm. Silly idea just to destroy stuff, the bigger alliances have so much ISK it's to cry about (damn dysprosium). Rather take the systems, break alliance back and sell the area out to the highest bidder, like they seemed to do before.
Nice to see Tri is back though.
I've not paid much attention to the game for a few months, although I have 4 accounts still training.

so TRI are after Hydra space.

It was only a matter of time until Hydra were removed from the North to be honest.

Bob have taken an IRON station though from what I can see in the MAX thread.

on a side note, found out that my hauler/combat pilot alt account were still active so i've been farting around Gelf.

even managed to lose my poor phoon to a blob >.<

tho not that surprising given the fact that he can just barely fly one lol...


/edit: FH channel abandoned btw? had a sneak in there yesterday but it was empty i think...

I stopped using the FH channel after I got buried in alliance business. Now I am trying to keep Real life happy since the summer started. I am hoping to be back and active in game properly in September.

Not sure what you were linking Unc, but there was a deleted thread related to this: Daisho titan.

I stole isk-farmers' money rather than buy it and built a titan with it:

Someone (lets call him Pilot X) from the large Alliance was tasked with managing the isk that influxxed from renters and also the farmers in the Alliances regions.

Pilot X skimmed money of the top of this ISK. He gave a lump of his skimmed cash to Ketch, simply as a gift. Ketch knew it came from Renters to that other Alliance.

This money was added to Daisho Alliance funds and a Titan Purchased.

It was plain corp theft on behalf of Pilot X which as we know is celebrated in Eve and not against the EULA.

Doing that and not expecting to get in trouble if CCP find out is pretty dumb.

I think they only give half the truth though, to try save their titan, but CCPs word is final as they have all transaction logs and logs to show who logged onto which char from where. To me it sounds like this pilot taking cash of a shared account, which is bannable.

One thing though, he didn't keep the ISK for himself but supported the alliance with it, I'll give him that. Maybe why he came in CCP spotlight in the first place? Since huge transactions of ISK is probably checked out by GM's.

Sorry, the thread I linked to referred to a thread by BOB heralding their success in the north and an apparent quote from RA internal forums showing the downfall / break-up of RA within the next week.

Yeah RA now has about 800 pilots - very low!

KIA are now pretty much admitting to sharing accounts, this may have been found out while CCP were looking into the large isk sums:

Oops that was a little slip.
No doubt it's the case though. Most alliances have the holdings corps that own most of the outpost and process the cash to buy titans etc.

What does "Vinum Recnum. Rex Vinorum" stand for? Obviously something latin referring to Wine though.

Interesting that you mention that, as the text is from wikipedia. It means "the wine of kings, the king of wines" which is how "Eszencia" was described by Louis XIV. However my text book I've just checked in says Regum rather than Regnum. Will look into it
