Im not sure its a fiver but yes its one of the best mmos I have ever played. If your clever enough to get past the tutorial and patient enough to learn/understand the concept of the game.
I think this has to be the most different mmo out there!

This game is excellent, if you are a patient person that doesn't want instant action and results it is much rewarding in many ways.

But yes at least you are making some kind of progress when offline, and that is refreshing. And with a nice corporation you can overcome alot of the ISK need as well.

Steepest learning curve in an MMO ever.
But I bet it's rewarding if you get past the oh so boring first bit.

Fantastic game this is!!
Yes it is a steep learning curve... i suggest you look up and Eve Starters guide, they can be very usefull, and the tutorial is very long but worth doing once.... The game actually has limitless (it seems this way anyway) variations of ships, skills, etc etc so you really never know what your going to be up against. PvP is so much fun PvE is okay, travel time is pretty dull but if you can get pased that.... just set auto pilot on and go watch some family guy etc. then its not an issue! The game gets very techincal when you delve deep into it e.g. http://www.eve-online.com/guide/en/g26.asp This is a good link to look at: http://www.eve-online.com/faq/faq_04.asp and click on Picture Tutorial at the bottom of the FAQ section on the left hand side.

There really aren't many boxes of EVE still around, they stopped making them a while ago. Instead, new players tend to download the client through the site. However, the boxes that do still exist are usually £5 or so yes and that includes the free month
Cheaper than getting it through the site/downloading!A word of warning, if you take the 14 day trial then don't try to upgrade it to a full account with a box key. It's a slow and painful process. |

yeah right, my alliance had a war going a while ago. and all that ever happend were that both sides were sitting at one or the other side of a gate camping. that went on for about 2 weeks with neither one wanting to jump through. thats real exititing isnt it? ![]() ended up with CONCORD saying "Fu*k you" and invalidated the war. /edit: imo the risk of loosing a ship that u have mods on thats worth about 200% more then the actual ship is to much to bare for most ppl (and corps) in the game. i mean, the insurance dont even cover the ship value.

R&D missions pay WELL more then all that. have a mate thats bringing in about 10 billion ISK a week from his agents thats getting him T2 BPO's.... |

I have not tried alliance wars or anything like that, but lowsec skirmishes vs pirates are fun. ![]() And if you complain about the latter, don't fly an expensive ship. only fly what you can afford to lose, first noob rule one learns in the tutorial afaik 10 bill isk/week is highly unlikely as the chance of getting a decent t2 bpo is minimal, unless hes an uber geek with 20 accounts with max lvl 4 r&d agents churning on each
