I should say.. I have rolled on Hyrkania, the RP-PvE server, and I expect to spend most of my time there.

However, I have made Levin (demonologist) on Dagon and would love to join the guild for some casual hanging out, if possible.

Right now there's only one global chat which is OOC and people trying to rp there get told to shut up, so... hmm. Generally, it seems that people want to get comfortable in the game, making guilds and such before committing to roleplay. Understandable I suppose. Also generally, it feels like people are taking it much slower on this server than on the Dagon server.

lol i went on the RP server yesterday and some people started rping in OOC and a ton of people lept in and started abusing them lol.

Exactly. Shame really if this si the case.

People treating the RP server like it's a "calmer" server.

Gotta log in there, check about, and then report it to funcom.

I like it a lot that people on the RP server take things more slowly and explore things. But I don't like it how some self-proclaimed polices there tell off those who try to rp on the only global channel, even if it's an OOC channel.

It would be one thing if we could make our own custom channels, but we can't yet. However, I imagine they have enough problems getting just the OOC channel to work properly. My main toon can't hear it at all, or can only hear two people at a time, while my other toon can hear it normally. Very strange.

Screw the rp server! Im trying to Rp a bit on the PvE server.. and its working great! You´ll probably get bored there when/if the population decreases.

This is the problem i'm having.

If the RP servers don't respect any more RP then the normal servers(as you can RP there and people don't mind), then it's poo.

Couldn't agree more. I'm going to stay there though as I assume most new players who want to RP will go there. Also, my old DaoC guild has decided that I should be guild leader of our AoC department.
