Ode to Albion

[Gasoline]

Here's a poem I wrote a while back. I only picked Alb, cos being a Mid I couldn't possibly use them...and Hibs were out of the question as the 'chorus' doesn't work as well with a bunch of robe wearing pot smokers

Ode to Albion - by Gasoline

Running through the valleys of Emain Macha,
While skalds shout their songs, and bards singing la-la,
You soon begin to realise that albs weren't there
To be beaten, like others, fair and square.

Taking an alb keep, bashing down the door,
You get so close, you can see rust there for sure.
When they arrive en masse, they zerg you to the floor.
The Knights in Shining Armour aren't shining anymore.

Who'd have thought that the civilised race
Would be the ones putting their realm to disgrace?
They come in zergs, not one group, but FOUR!
The Knights in Shining Armour aren't shining anymore.

Their classes are too tough, but Mythic don't care.
They couldn't give a damn that we're ripping out our hair.
You see when the albs jump on you, blood, guts and gore...
The Knights in Shining Armour aren't shining anymore.

It takes quite some nerve to do what they do,
Highlanders in battle, yelling "Och aye the noo!"
But their tactics remain, without a single flaw.

And if poems don't rhyme it ain´t challenging or fun to write them. In my opinion that is =p
