OMFG NO THAT SUXXORS
If you're a damage dealer, why have you put points into shield specialisation? If it was just to get the bloodrage stuff then fair enough but you've put five points into two-handed weapon specialisation as well, or do you intend to switch between both when neccesary? It does seem nicely balanced though ![]() I've not paid much attention to my talent points really, I've just put them into areas which will make me do as much damage as possible. http://wow.allakhazam.com/profile.html?53586 |

hahaaaahahahaha sorry Jup.... and back on topic I think the thing with talents is to experiment the first change only costs 1g so put them where you like for now and if you find you are a bit gimped later on recert

Mank, from what I've read it seems pretty commonplace to be changing stance in PvP hence the points in the tactical mastery to maintain some rage. I would plan to typically use a nice 2 handed melee weapon but the ability to perhaps swap to shield for a slam in a fight might be useful (provided my button mashing fingers hit the keys ok). Yoni - you wtfkthxbbqpwned me yesterday with your l33t 3 level advantage, but did my occasional slams stop you casting or cause problems? |

I hightlighted mostly as that's exactly it while there is much PvPing to be done... I can always respec at 60 if needed. I guess if that's the worst you can say the template can't be too bad eh?

I can't really offer much as I'm still playing around with it myself. Though I wanted to go Duel Wield and have been putting my talents in most of the same mentioned above, except instead of Shield I went Anticipation. I then started with 2h and Polearms, so much to play with, I'll offer better info when I'm 60.

Things to bare in mind when makeing your template are
* Rage cost <-> Effectiveness <-> Talent Point cost For instance in a mele heavy group pve group with all agro on me so im generateing enough rage, the group DPS boost shout may be worth the rage cost (20 Points). Solo 20 rage points for a small DPS boost probably is not worth it. Same goes with Improved Demoralizing Shout, is the DPS debuff % increase realy worth the 5 points? If you look on your charecter screen and move the curser over attack power it tells you how much the Dam increase per swing is, which will give you an idea about whether you think its worth it. At the end of the day warriors have alot of moves (thunderclap etc) that are a complete waste of rage in PvP since you will rarely have 10+ people hitting you. __________________________________________________ ____________ This is a personal thing but here is the Talent spec im gonna use for my Warrior (note no deathwish but being undead there is no real need for it). Its based around a few principles Absorbing Damage - Full points in Parry and Block and full points in AF boost improved shield block. Stuns - I like stuns ! Not only does it meen you can get some cheap shots in but they dont attack back meening even more damage your not takeing. So ive gone for improved revenge (40% chance of stun) and Concussion Blow (15 rage cost and 5 sec stun) Improved Crits - Since im mainly gonna be in useing S&B im gonna need to improve my damage slightly so ive gone and boosted my chance to crit and the damage caused by crits. Tactical Mastery - Probably to most usefull talent a warrior has. To be most effective you need to be able to change stances when needed to utalise all the moves you have. Looseing rage by changeing stance defeats that so 5 points good .. 3 points is a must. Arms Talents (25 points) Deflection - 5/5 points Increases your Parry chance by 5%. Improved Rend - 3/3 points Increases the bleed damage done by your Rend ability by 35%. Tactical Mastery - 5/5 points You retain up to 25 of your rage points when you change stances. Deep Wounds - 3/3 points Your critical strikes cause the opponent to bleed, dealing 60% of your melee weapon's average damage over 12 seconds. Improved Overpower - 2/2 points Increases the critical strike chance of your Overpower ability by 50%. Impale - 2/2 points Increases the critical strike damage done by your abilities in Battle, Defensive, and Berserker stance by 20%. Axe Specialization - 5/5 points Increases your chance to get a critical strike with Axes by 5%. Fury Talents (5 points) Cruelty - 5/5 points Increases your chance to get a critical strike with melee weapons by 5%. Protection Talents (21 points) Shield Specialization - 5/5 points Increases your chance to block attacks with a shield by 5%. Toughness - 5/5 points Increases your armor value from items by 10%. Improved Shield Block - 3/3 points Allows your Shield Block ability to block an additional attack, and increases the duration by 2 seconds. Improved Revenge - 3/3 points Gives your Revenge ability a 40% chance to stun the target for 3 seconds. Improved Disarm - 3/3 points Increases the duration of your Disarm ability by 3 seconds. Improved Sunder Armor - 1/3 point Increases the armor reduction of your Sunder Armor by 10%. Concussion Blow - 1/1 point A brutal strike that deals weapon damage and stuns the opponent for 5 seconds.

Thanks for that Garok - I had considered that I could go more absorption while PvEing and this is quite nice for that, but I decided I'd quite like to stay fairly close to my final template if possible. You're putting alot of faith in crits with that build... good luck and I hope it works out
