gnome overpowered mage?

Is it me or is a Gnome mage overpowered compared to the undead one?

Gnome
starting Int: 27
starting mana: 225

Undead
starting Int:21
starting mana:135

Maybe I missed something, this being the first day I actually did some nerding about the game?

Makes it seem skewed when the mana pool is so small, but it's even once you get higher amounts of int for both.

Is the +5% 5 percent of your total int, or just base starting stat?

Otherwise, it's 90 mana, and hardly the end of the world once you get past level 20.

lol.. that would have been intresting.. some 10k in mana pool at 60

and gnomes are only really "overpowered" in pve with that int bonus. in pvp its undead thats overpowered with their Will of the Forsaken racial trait.. (yes i played a UD mage on a pvp server) and that WotF saved me from fights i would have deffo been slaughtered in if i didnt have it..

gnomes are cute too, which makes them great regardless of racial traits

Dunno about that one works, but it seems to do on my Priest. Human has 5% more spirit. My gear is affected by those 5%, so Spirit Tap really kicks in :-)
