Stat caps, resists and template builder anyone?

Hi there!

Started playing wow two days ago and got myself a lvl 16 warlock so far. I've read up on quests, gear, the class, areas etc and learned the basics pretty fast-even made my final lvl 60 talent pvp spec. However, there are some aspects of the game that I haven't gotten an answer to:

1: At lvl 60, what is the cap on stats/skills possible to get from gear/jewelry?

2: Are there any calculators out there(like daoc sc calcs)that allows you to create a template(equipment wise) for the purpose of capping all resists, stats/skills and whatnot?
