someone help a poor newbie

Just installed the game - patched up and everything - clicked "i accept" then it just goes to desktop, no warning or anything. Just like i closed the game.

Please say someone knows what to do, i have tried re-installing the game, and also installed DirectX 9b. Could be my gfx drivers but last time i installed them it all went titsup.co.uk.

have done - got a lvl 4 Mutant Blaster on virtue - none of the afore mensioned people were on

Anyone else is welcome too, regardless of how often you post. Or even if you don't. At some point I'll get round to writing one of those silly "We're a friendly group of mostly fairly casual gamers. We have a range of levels" etc etc blah blah blah, recruitment type posts and getting it made sticky. No real "organised raids" or whatever, but I'm usually running a FF group when I'm on, and providing we've got enough high-level chars in to SK you, even little lvl 5s etc are welcome. If I don't ask you straight away if you'd like to join, whine in /sg about the lack of groups or something, I'm sure I'll get the message.

Only problem with SKed people is you can't drag them into hazard zones.
