Connection Problems

I've been playing COH for the past 2-3 weeks and have had no connection problems at all, the game has run nice and smoothly bar a couple of Map Disconnections one night.

Unfortunately both last night and this night have been completely unplayable with fps lag. I've been through my system with lots of different diagnostic tools and I'm (now) spyware free, no viruses, no apparent reason for the slowdown.

So (getting to the point) I just ran a Blueyonder speed test. It anticipated download speeds from east coast USA servers of 3072 kb/s but actually got 1,236 kb/s which "is a serious problem and should be investigated".

Anyone else having a problem connecting on Blueyonder? I fully intend to call their technical support, but the fact it could be my connection only just hit my techno-blonde brain -- and they're tech support people will all be tucked up in bed now

Last couple of days have been bad. Not entirely sure why. No "sorry we're having network problems" type announcements from the devs, so the issue is perhaps somewhere between the sunny UK and the good ole' US of A.
