my new vice

my new vice is a product called nasal snuff. not be confused with moist snuff which is used in the mouth and banned in most of europe.
nasal snuff is a fine tobacco dust, thats the ebst way to describe it. it comes in 100s of different 'flavours'. the idea is you take a pinch from the tin and sniff it up each nostril.
now i admit it, hands up I FUCKING LOVE NICOTINE. with a decent cup of tea im off my tits for a good 15 minutes. problem is - i dont like smoking. amongst other things it does cause lung disease.
english nasal snuff currently, if used corretly, is not linked to any disease. the lancet reported that it could be one of the biggest life savers of the 21st century in developed countries. obviously because smoking is the biggest curable killer known to man. snuff gives you nicotine quickly in a way which is 95% safer than smoking. there is obviously the effect on the heart which is equivalent to drinking strong coffee all day everyday.
add to all that it only costs 1.50 for an amount equivalent to 100 fags and its legal to use in public buildings (theres no smoke you see).
ive got 9 flavours so far and ive just cracked open a spearmint affair which is gorgeous and its kicking my arse!
if youre a smoker, try this. its waaaaayyy more enjoyable.

When I think snuff, I think of old people. With no teeth and hairs coming out of their nostrils and ears.

Well snus is not illegal where I am at the moment... I struggle with the pull of vitamin N also however I don't really want to do snuff, apart from being not lady like I prefer being disgusted and verbally reprimanding myself every time I have a cigarette.

what isnt lady like about it? you lightly sniff it with the added bonus that you dont stink of shit and you have a lovely smell in your nostrils.
its not like you pour a big pile out and shove your face in it and get it all over your self! |

My granny used to use it.
I thought it had died off years ago, along with her. I've never seen or heard of anyone using it since her. |

probsbly because not a lot of people know about it.
people know cigarettes, so thats whats sold. if all smokers knew about snuff i reckon more would use it for the simple fact that it doesnt give you diseases and it doesnt make you die a slow horrible death. i only know about because (sorry cant remember his name :() someone posted about it in a thread here. a bit of searching and ive found international communities and reports about it all over the world, just not in britain. |

isnt that snus? the two things are quite different in that one goes in the mouth and is moist and the other is dry and goes in the nose.
ive read snus is still linked to higher chance of pancreatic cancer like smoking. |
