A Healers Lot

Some players love whacking things, some love blowing shit up, i like being the support guy who is often overlooked. I am a healer.
For 8 years i have played mmorpg's, through UO, EQ, Druids and Healers in DAoC to Shamen, Druids and Paladins in WoW, Minstrel in LOTRO, Medic in Planetside...well, you get the idea. Point is, i kinda know what im doing.
Keeping a group alive on your own is not easy, it's a tricky task. Sometimes the tanks get eager and over extend, meaning i have to charge into the malaise to save their asses, sometimes i find myself in a PuG where the other players will stand around and watch while i get slaughtered slowly by a tank, sometimes it's archmages who think they are bright wizards. It's all part of the game, I accept that.
Across the multitude of games i have played i have encountered many many asshats who love to abuse healers, yelling at them, blaming them for everything yadda yadda yadda, i think i can confidently say i have pretty much seen it all.
I know it's a knee jerk reaction to yell "HEAL FFS!!!111", i have no problem with that, im used to it. But repeat spamming such things and getting personal and pissy is not knee-jerk, it's being a jerk.
For all the lovely players on Karak Hirn (Order) who have yelled and abused me (and other healers) already for not healing them when i am busy trying to keep my own group alive, usually on my own, a piece of advice, it's water off a ducks back (so to speak). Persistent personal threats will get you reported, spam pm's will get you ignored. If i have the time and the AP's, i will heal every realm-mate i see who needs it, but yelling gets you a one way trip to the back of the line. I don't need to be told over and over and over you need healing, I know, I have eyes and i'll get around to it.

I TRY and heal everyone, even the kamekazi-types, but often the will to keep them alive is far different than the reality, which is sadly that they are gonna die and theres nothing anyone can do about it
