Thanks for all the kind comments. Kate (the wife) is feeling better but still not something you get over easily. Tough thing for a woman to go through and I think all we men can do is support as best we can. Difficult to imagine all the hormonal imbalances and what they can do to you.

Regarding the accident it seems the insurance is taking it up with the police. Which really surprised me. After I wrote my account of what happened they wrote to Epco, the Petrol Station owner, for the CCTV footage. Which will be interesting if they get it. As the Tanker driver was hanging out of his window shaking his fist at me just before the actual accident.

The car is being fixed and the damage was superficial. So should get it back this week. Also finally ordered my new 'Mustang GT California Special' which made me feel a lot better. Mrs got quite excited as well.

Bloody hilarious at work, I basically told them I wanted to move state side and change roles from Engineering to Program Management. After two days they come back to me with a counter offer, a new Program Management role in Dubai and to head up a new Department. 20% pay rise and another 50% housing allowance rise. Bloody idiots I would have done it for a lot less.

Means up to six months in the states training and they will pay full expenses including housing, hire cars my sons schooling. Verbally said yes but no contract signed yet. I think this will give us the break we need from the Middle East.

In Istanbul at the moment for an aircraft retrofit at THY, number 4 of 7. Nothing much to do work wise until power on next week though. So, bored stiff.
