June, a bad month for birthdays.

A while since I've had time to add to this blog. Too much travel and my new job to sort out. Finally officially started new role, same company and location. Instead of bossing around a team of Engineers I'm bossing myself around as the sole Program Manager in Dubai. Been promised Director title and role within 2 years and a team of four.
Celebrated my sons 8th birthday on Saturday. He got far too many presents, mostly from a party on Friday. From us he got a Zen V Plus MP3 player (4Gb), a easy to use Fuji 9.1 Mpixel camera, Wii Mario Cart, clothes/beach gear and a new backpack.
Took him to TGI's for lunch on Saturday and then to the cinema for Kung Fu Panda which was suprisingly good.
Happened to go into Virgin Megastore on Saturday. Saw AoC on sale, absolutely amazed at this as only the week before they stated that it would not be sold in UAE due to the adult content (tits!).
Latest craze amongst the young locals is dropping kittens out of their cars whilst driving along on the motorways and dual carriageways. I'm sure Allah would be very proud!
