One for the money: Janet Evanovich

This is the story of a woman in Jersey who's life is taking a turn for the worst. She lost her job and has had to pawn most of her stuff (except for her hamster lol) and so to get money she turns to her pervy cousin who runs a bail bonding agency and gets a job as a bounty hunter.

Its a bit like Briget Jones meets Domino and amid trying to chase down FTAs she has to deal with an x bf and cope with her mothers constant attempts to get her hitched to a nice local boy...she keeps throwing nice local boys at her daughter but none of them stick, then there is the put upon father and the insane grandma.

all in all a good book, not really a chick-lit as B2 read it and was chuckling away so if your looking for some suburban action with some comedy thrown in, i'd recommend this and (haha) its part of a series!
